Tribhuvan University: Plagiarism Detecting Software to Control Intellectual Theft

  • Tribhuvan University (TU) published an announcement; it demanded that all of its campuses, central departments, associated campuses, and other organizations get user names and passwords for the plagiarism detection program. Since 2017, the university has implemented this program, termed the ‘Plagiarism Detector Software’, in order to avoid instances of intellectual theft in research projects completed by undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students.

Although some organizations still not got the requisite user IDs, TU released this statement inviting them to get in conjunction with the University Central Library in order to get the proper user Credentials. Through the use of this software, it will be feasible to combat piracy in a variety of academic assignments, including thesis, project work, internship reports, field reports, and term papers.
