Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inaugurated the ISPRS Geospatial Week (GSW 2023). From September 2 to 7, the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Marine Transport will co-host the conference. Our ultimate purpose is to use science, research, and innovation to help the Egyptian people realize their development aspirations. This is why we are interested in developing technologies as well as the establishment of rules and regulations that can speed and facilitate the achievement of these goals through the use of such technologies, according to the minister. The GSW provides a venue for worldwide researchers, graduate students, future scientists, and industry sectors to exchange information and experiences about using geospatial technology for sustainable development and improving people's quality of life throughout the world.
