Group-IB, a pioneering developer of cybersecurity solutions to investigate, prevent, and combat digital crime, today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mahidol University one of Thailand's top educational institutions focused on IT management to create a Cybersecurity Center of Excellence on campus, which will be the country's top facility for world-class cyber defense training, research, and capacity development, supporting both students and professionals in acquiring vital cybersecurity expertise.
Under the agreement, Mahidol University will incorporate Group-IB's cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies into its courses, providing undergraduates with hands-on training in utilizing industry-leading tools like Group-IB Managed XDR for real-time threat detection and response, Business Email Protection to secure enterprise communications, Threat Intelligence for real-time threat detection and analysis, and Attack Surface Management to detect and prevent security vulnerabilities. Group-IB will also offer an interactive training program, providing training courses and instructional materials to help further enhance the cybersecurity talent base in Thailand.
The inauguration of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence was accompanied by a formal ceremony, attended by Mr. Ekkaporn Rakkwamsuk, Vice Minister of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, and also by officials of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA).
