Group-IB, HELP University partner for Cyber Security Courses

  • HELP University (HELP), a renowned private institution of higher education in Malaysia, has joined forces with Group-IB, a leading provider of cybersecurity technologies dedicated to tackling digital crime, to pioneer a significant collaboration aimed at enhancing cybersecurity education within Malaysia. This strategic alliance aims to develop, implement, and manage educational programs, workshops, and consultancy projects focused on cybersecurity and digital forensics. The primary objective is to cultivate a strong pool of cybersecurity professionals in Malaysia to meet the increasing demand for skilled individuals in this sector.

The collaboration will extend across all of HELP’s campuses in Malaysia, with immediate efforts concentrated on crafting and delivering specialized technical courses set to commence in the forthcoming academic term. Group-IB will leverage its expertise to design and deliver specialized technical cybersecurity courses and educational frameworks tailored for HELP’s undergraduate and postgraduate students.

This will involve granting access to its cutting-edge technologies such as Threat Intelligence and Managed Extended Detection & Response (MXDR), as well as providing training materials and modules covering Incident Management, Digital Forensics, and Threat Hunting. Additionally, subject matter experts from Group-IB will facilitate practical learning opportunities to ensure students gain hands-on experience alongside theoretical knowledge. HELP will seamlessly integrate these courses into its existing curriculum.

Moreover, the partnership between HELP University and Group-IB will establish a framework for knowledge exchange, enabling HELP educators to enhance their professional development. This ensures that the programs offered deliver industry-relevant education aligned with prevailing and future cybersecurity standards and practices.
