The pioneering Future Tech Leaders Programme has been launched by the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), the premier independent training organization that provides top-notch education, training, and ancillary services in banking and finance. With a precise focus on the booming Fintech sector, this program seeks to close the significant skills gap in the technology sector.
On July 3rd, the six-month Future Tech Leaders Program officially began, drawing 100 participants who will have the exceptional chance to learn from the two highly regarded institutions of international renown.
Phase 1 of the program will be overseen by Oxford University's said Business School, which will give participants in-depth knowledge of how technology is used in the financial industry.
In phase 2, the prominent technological leader MIT will provide specialized training catered to participants' selected fields of expertise. This stage strives to arm individuals with the sophisticated abilities required for success in the quickly developing sector of technology.
With a major influence on closing the skills deficit and providing specialized training, the Future Tech Leaders Programme seeks to foster and develop the future generation of technology leaders in the UAE. By supporting the expansion and development of the Fintech sector, this program further solidifies the UAE's position as a major worldwide hub for financial technology innovation.
Acting General Manager of EIF Noura alblooshi outlined the goals of the program, saying, “The course, ‘Shaping Future Technology Leaders in Financial Serivces’, aims to equip financial services professionals in the UAE with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the sector’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. This aligns with the directives of the visionary leadership of the UAE and the EIF strategy. The program covers financial services, technology, and disruption and will be delivered through a blend of face-to-face, virtual and online teaching”.
"Recognizing the critical need for the skilled UAE national talent in the technology domain, EIF, in collaboration with the Oxford University, Said Business School, shaping Future Tech leaders in Financial Services, and MIT, has designed a comprehensive and cutting-edge program that centers around three key domains: Cyber Security, Data Science, and Software programming," she added.
These formats will be useful to program participants. Throughout the program, specific assignments and tests will make sure that participants demonstrate knowledge of the subjects they have chosen. With a focus on the developing Fintech industry, this ground-breaking partnership between EIF, Oxford University's Said Business School, and MIT exhibits a steadfast dedication to growing local talent and closing the skill gap in the technology field. The goal is to put finance at the forefront of global technological innovation, securing its place as a prestigious center for cutting-edge developments.
