EpicQuest Education Group International Limited, known for its commitment to providing higher education for domestic and international students across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, recently announced exciting developments regarding new collaborative academic programs at its owned and operated institution, Davis University in Toledo, Ohio. These initiatives are seen as essential strides in the company’s overarching mission to enhance internationalization within its educational offerings.
Zhenyu Wu, CFO of EpicQuest Education, emphasized the significance of these collaborations, stating that the company’s revenue is substantially boosted by its programs offered abroad, thanks to its strategy of partnering with prestigious international institutions. This approach not only facilitates international students in pursuing education in their home countries but also cultivates a growing pool of students who opt to complete their studies at Davis University. Wu pointed out that all new programs announced have the potential to expand from a single major to three majors, thereby significantly increasing both student enrollment and associated revenue from these initiatives.
One of the most notable updates comes from the successful partnership with Chongqing Institute of Technology and Business (CQCEE), where Davis University has implemented a "3+0" program. As of September 2024, the number of Davis students enrolled in this program has doubled to 100 students in their second year, following the enrollment of 50 students in the first year. This surge marks a considerable growth in participation, bringing the total number of Davis students engaged in this program to 150. The program allows Davis students to complete their coursework at Chongqing College over three years without any additional requirements on the Toledo campus. Upon successful completion, students will earn a diploma from Chongqing College alongside an associate degree certificate from Davis University. Furthermore, upon graduation, these students have the option to transition into the Bachelor of Science program at Davis or transfer to partner universities to pursue their bachelor’s degrees.
Additionally, Davis University has established a collaboration agreement with Shijiazhuang College of Applied Technology to jointly develop a diploma program in Advertising and Art Design. This innovative program will be taught in both Toledo and Hebei Province, China, with plans to enroll 100 students annually for the next seven years. A significant advantage of this program is its official inclusion in China’s National Admission Plan for General Universities and Colleges, allowing candidates who meet the general diploma admission score to be selected through the official admission procedures in China. Graduates will receive a Higher Vocational College Graduation Certificate from Shijiazhuang College along with an Associate’s Degree from Davis University, thus ensuring a comprehensive educational pathway.
Moreover, a joint program has been established with Guangdong Communications Polytechnic to jointly deliver a Modern Logistics Management specialty education program. This initiative has been formally approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, enabling Davis University to recruit up to 100 students for the program starting in September 2025, with a target of enrolling a total of 300 students by September 2027.
EpicQuest Education’s commitment to internationalization is a fundamental aspect of its strategic growth plan. The company aims to bolster its operated colleges, including Davis University and EduGlobal College, with a stronger focus on international recruitment and enriched globalized learning experiences. By doing so, EpicQuest Education seeks to provide pathways for students to achieve university degrees while establishing itself as a truly international service provider of higher learning.
These new collaborative programs reflect EpicQuest Education's dedication to expanding educational opportunities for students worldwide and highlight the growing importance of international partnerships in enhancing academic offerings. With ambitious plans and a clear vision for the future, the company is poised to make significant contributions to the global education landscape, ensuring that students receive the support and resources necessary for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
