CYBRTEK, Harrisburg University & Nortal partner to establish Cybersecurity Hub in UAE

  • CYBRTEK, a Global cybersecurity solutions company founded in the UAE, has entered a strategic agreement with Harrisburg University of Science & Technology in Dubai and Nortal. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during GITEX, coinciding with Cyber Security Awareness Month, and in the presence of Honorable Ms. Kristina Kallas, the Minister of Education and Research for the Republic of Estonia. This marks a significant milestone in the UAE's commitment to establishing a secure cyberspace by creating the advanced CYBRTEK (CT) competence center in Dubai.

    The CT competence center, located at the Harrisburg University campus in Dubai Knowledge Park, serves as a cutting-edge training facility for cybersecurity professionals from both the public and private sectors. Equipped with Nortal's Coliseum Cyber Range, it offers a comprehensive curriculum directed by Harrisburg University. The training at this center focuses on cybersecurity and preparedness for cyber incidents, utilizing state-of-the-art educational technology and advanced training capabilities.

    Karim Attiyah, CEO of CYBRTEK, stated, "The signing of the MoU is a pivotal moment for CYBRTEK as it evolves into a leading center of excellence in cybersecurity, powered by Nortal's renowned Coliseum Cyber Range located at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.     Kristina Kallas, the Minister of Education and Research for the Republic of Estonia, commented, "Estonia's unique experience as the first nation to face a large-scale cyber-attack in 2007, alongside our successful adoption of e-government solutions, has positioned us as global leaders in cybersecurity for nearly two decades. The establishment of partnerships across both public and private sectors emphasizes our capability and commitment to delivering top-tier international solutions and study programs".
