Aldar Education unveils a scholarship program for outstanding UAE students

  • Aldar Education, the largest school operator in Abu Dhabi, has introduced a scholarship program across three of its academies: Mamoura British Academy, Al Ain British Academy, and Yas American Academy. The scholarship will be granted to 10 new students at each school for the academic year 2024-25, offering support to students and a valuable resource for parents. Stephen Sharples, Chief Education Officer at Aldar Education, stated that the Aldar Academies Scholarship Programme reflects their dedication to making exceptional education accessible to promising students and their families.

"This initiative not only aids students but also serves as a valuable resource for parents aspiring to enhance and uplift their children's educational journey within a nurturing academic environment. For us, it's more than just a program, it represents our commitment to supporting the learning community in Abu Dhabi. We anticipate leveraging our educational expertise and 15-year track record to empower a new generation of talented students, assisting them in realizing their full potential." The scholarship selection criteria involve academic achievement for Mamoura British Academy, while Al in British Academy and Yas American Academy will consider candidates excelling either academically, in sports, or both.

Aldar Education, managing 31 schools in the UAE, has introduced its first scholarship program of this magnitude and nature. Applications are currently being accepted until February 29. To apply, parents must submit a completed application form, a written personal statement or a letter of introduction by the student, copies of the student's school reports from the past two years, any supporting documents like recommendation letters, certificates, a portfolio of results, press clippings, and video evidence. Following the initial review stages, a scholarship committee will conduct interviews with the shortlisted students.
