In a landmark partnership focused on fostering skill development and knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of drone technology, AirAsia Drone, a subsidiary wholly owned by Capital A Berhad, has joined forces with SRI College Malaysia, a prominent private institution specializing in management, to introduce a drone management program aimed at advancing the future of drone education in Malaysia.
The partnership aims to jointly develop and introduce a Diploma program in Drone Management by incorporating AirAsia Drone's Remote Pilot Certificate Competency - Basic (RCOC-B) course into the curriculum. This integrated program will offer students a thorough education in drone operations, regulatory adherence, and industry standards. Enrolled students will have the special chance to acquire the RCOC-B certification, thereby bolstering their qualifications and prospects within the competitive drone sector.

The jointly developed diploma program will offer theoretical instruction covering a range of subjects, including Introduction to Drones and Technology, Drone Regulations and Compliance, Business and Entrepreneurship in Drones, Aerial Mapping, Drone Marketing and Sales, and Environmental and Wildlife Monitoring. Additionally, students will undertake practical industrial training as a course requirement. Upon successfully finishing the program, students will receive a Diploma in Drone Management.
