ADU participates in Najah Abu Dhabi Expo 2023 to showcase its latest programs & scholarships

  • Abu Dhabi University's (ADU) commitment to nurturing leadership, innovation, and ambition among its students, ADU is actively participating in the 17th edition of the Najah Abu Dhabi exhibition 2023, which is the largest education fair in the UAE. The event will run from October 29th to 31st, during which ADU will showcase its wide range of academic programs, scholarships, and important initiatives. The university will highlight its recognized accreditations and notable achievements in the education sector, including its recent rankings. According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, ADU secured the 13th position globally for the world's best small universities and the 58th spot globally for young universities under 50 years.

    Faculty and staff members will be available to engage in discussions about ADU's diverse undergraduate and postgraduate academic offerings, including the five new undergraduate degrees introduced by the College of Business. These degrees are designed to empower students for their future careers and encompass fields such as finance and fintech, accounting, human resources management, and digital marketing communications. These programs focus on technology, data management, sustainability, critical thinking, problem-solving, emotional intelligence (EI), and entrepreneurship.

    During the exhibition, Professor Hatem Abushammala, a professor of Environmental Health and Safety at the College of Health Sciences at ADU, will host a session on "Sustainability and Education", where he will present his scientific research focusing on sustainability, environmental concerns, waste management, and natural resource preservation.

    Professor Ghassan Aouad, the Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University, expressed, "Over the past two decades, Abu Dhabi University has successfully fostered a culture of research and innovation among our students and faculty, nurturing the leaders of the future. We are honored to be part of the Najah Abu Dhabi Exhibition 2023 and to have the opportunity to showcase the latest offerings of the university to prospective ADU students. We look forward to engaging with regional and international academic institutions to share knowledge and experiences. At ADU, we are dedicated to enhancing our programs and offerings to provide a well-rounded academic experience that empowers students for personal growth and career success, aligning with the UAE's aspirations for the next 50 years". Moreover, ADU students will present their innovative projects and solutions developed as part of their coursework during the exhibition, allowing prospective students to gain insights into the university's key achievements throughout the year.

    At the exhibition, ADU representatives will spotlight the university's state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced sports gyms, entertainment venues, and academic resources such as the Academic Success Center and the Innovation Center. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about the university's numerous regional and global accreditations, including a prestigious ten-year reaccreditation without reservation from The American Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the USA. ADU welcomes community members to visit their booth at Stand No. B03 in Hall 5 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) to discover more about their outstanding programs.
