5T Improves Higher Education

  • Higher Education Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak stated that by utilizing all 5Ts, the field of Higher Education in the state will be more vibrant. Shri Nayak presided over a Workshop-cum-Orientation Program for Principals of Government Colleges, Non-Government Aided Colleges, and Teachers' Educational Institutions on September 13 at Lokaseva Bhawan's Convention Hall Centre. This workshop was attended by three university vice chancellors and 370 principals of government, non-government aided, and non-aided colleges. Chief Minister Secretary V K Pandian announced that the Chief Minister has sanctioned Rs.1000 Crore for the first phase of infrastructure development for our colleges. Shri Pandian, who is also the 5T Secretary, was speaking today at a workshop for principals of educational institutions from across the state. 

    The primary goal of this Workshop was to foster dialogue among key stakeholders in the state's higher education sector on a variety of topics ranging from financial schemes to technological advancements, with the goal of both immediate and long-term implementation, according to Minister. Odisha, according to Shri Nayak, has excelled in food security and sports. We will achieve all-around excellence in the Higher Education sector through a unified approach. Sri Nayak stated that education is one of our most valuable resources. Based on it, we will be able to make our Chief Minister's dream a reality. All college alumni must come forward and contribute towards this process of transformation, Akash Das Nayak. More funds will be sanctioned in the future for the advancement of higher education. Aravind Agrawal, Secretary, Higher Education, and Narahari Sethi, Director, Higher Education, spoke on the occasion. The welcome address was given by Special Secretary Pramod Kumar Mishra, and the vote of thanks was given by Special Secretary Ramakant Nayak.
