UMS and NTST Partner for Joint Research Program

  • The collaboration between Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and Nantong College of Science and Technology (NTST) marks a significant stride in advancing research and education endeavours.     The alliance with NTST underscores UMS's ongoing commitment to enhancing its scientific pursuits.     Established in 1994, UMS stands as Malaysia's ninth public university, nestled on a sprawling 999-acre campus overlooking the majestic Mount Kinabalu and the South China Sea in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Renowned for its picturesque setting, UMS is widely regarded as one of Southeast Asia's most scenic campuses, providing an inspiring environment for intellectual growth and exploration. 

    On the other hand, NTST, founded in 1945 under the auspices of the Nantong Municipal People’s Government, boasts a robust academic legacy. With over 10,000 enrolled students and a faculty roster exceeding 400 members, NTST offers an extensive array of vocational specialities through its seven teaching departments. This collaboration between UMS and NTST holds immense promise in fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and expertise, propelling both institutions towards new frontiers of innovation and excellence in research and education.
