The Inauguration of Global School of Aviation in Chennai

  • On February 6th, the highly awaited Global School of Aviation officially initiated its full operations in Chennai through a collaboration with Gulf Aviation Academy, Bahrain. Situated directly on the airport road, this 8000 sqft training facility signifies the beginning of a revolutionary endeavor aimed at preparing ambitious aviation enthusiasts for prosperous careers in the rapidly expanding aviation sector. The Global School of Aviation is positioned to emerge as a symbol of excellence in aviation education, offering comprehensive training programs and nurturing a fervor for aviation. The school features modern classrooms, specialized training amenities, and proficient instructors dedicated to delivering an advanced learning experience.

The aviation school will encompass a wide range of aviation aspects, such as cabin crew training, various airport management programs, hospitality, and related subjects. Our curriculum is meticulously crafted to empower students with the skills essential for optimal performance in the rapidly growing aviation industry. The facility includes three fully equipped classrooms, including a smart classroom and a laboratory, a mock setup for cabin crew training, a library, and grooming room facilities. The faculty members bring extensive industry experience in their respective domains, and the school also offers part-time guest lectures by aviation experts. The Global School of Aviation takes immense pride in its collaboration with Gulf Aviation Academy, Bahrain, and plans to leverage this partnership to design and deliver courses that provide selected students with valuable international exposure.

Sarita, the Managing Director and spokesperson for the Global School of Aviation, emphasizes that the institution aims to develop top-tier human resources. The aviation industry is set for rapid growth, with the number of aircraft expected to increase from the current 700 to potentially 2000, and the number of airports expanding from 130 to over 200 within the next decade. This growth is anticipated to create significant job opportunities both on the ground and in the air for ambitious individuals. The primary challenge faced by the industry is the scarcity of trained personnel across various aviation domains. This realization motivated the establishment of a modern school with state-of-the-art technology in the aviation field, aimed at identifying, training, and providing the best students with placement opportunities within the institution and with external entities, including ground handling agents, airport operators, and airline companies.
