Taaleem Acquires LLFP Meydan, Expanding Education Offerings

  • Taaleem Holdings PJSC , the leading provider of premium K-12 education within the UAE, announced today that it has successfully completed the 100% acquisition of Lycée Libanais Francophone Privé Meydan (LLFP Meydan), a renowned multilingual school located in Dubai. The school accepts more than 1,300 students, from Petite Section of Maternelle to Terminale, and has a total capacity for 1,900 students.

LLFP Meydan, with its French-language curriculum and supporting instruction in Arabic, English, and other languages, further adds to the differing educational prescription offered by Taaleem. Its programs reflect the national curricula of France, thus leading to the General Baccalaureate and the Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB). This acquisition will complement Taaleem's existing network of schools offering UK, IB, and American curricula, enabling the Group to reach new communities and enhance cross-curricular ideas; it further expands its student base. The school, which has enjoyed continued growth in enrollment since its relocation to a new, modern facility in 2021, was originally established in 2003 in Muhaisnah 4.

Situated in the rapidly developing Meydan area of Dubai, LLFP Meydan’s state of the art campus spans seven ‘green’ buildings, equipped with solar panels, connected by walkways, and surrounded by vast green spaces. Designed by Dorsch Gruppe, the school has won prestigious awards for its sustainable design: the 'Sustainable and Efficient Architecture' award (Sustainable Project of the Year) and the "Design Education Project of the Year" award.

In its inaugural KHDA inspection in 2024, it was one of the first ever schools to be rated ‘Very good’ with several ‘Outstanding’ features celebrating the academic and pastoral strengths of this top community school.
