The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Diglossia to share expertise and improve collaborative efforts in creating and executing standardized tests for private schools in the Emirate of Sharjah, under the Authority's supervision. The agreement signing was attended by Ali Al Hosani, Director of SPEA; Ms. Mimi Jett, CEO of Diglossia; several officials from the Authority; and representatives from Diglossia.
The terms of the agreement include the exchange of data, information and reports that contribute to achieving educational goals in Sharjah, as well as developing work mechanisms related to the exchange of such data and reports to ensure the enhancement of the joint educational system. The agreement is also an important step towards enhancing cooperation between parties concerned with the educational sector in the Emirate of Sharjah, which will positively reflect on the quality of education and the development of students’ capabilities in private schools.
As part of the memorandum of understanding, SPEA will facilitate communication with licensed schools and ensure that data pertaining to these schools is shared with Diglossia to support the implementation of standardized tests.
The agreement will also promote school participation in these tests, which aim to enhance educational performance. In return, Diglossia will provide SPEA with data and insights related to the results and analysis of the standardized tests conducted by schools. Diglossia will ensure that intellectual property rights are respected in accordance with Federal Law No. 45 of 2021 concerning the protection of personal data in the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, Diglossia will guarantee the reliability and integrity of the shared data and contribute to developing plans for improving school performance based on the test results.
