RVS Academy has been awarded the Recognition of International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) Award for 2025-2027 by the British Council. The award acknowledges the school for its commitment towards nurturing global awareness, cultural exchange and international cooperation.
The honor was given by Duncan Wilson, Managing Director of the British Council and was accepted by RVS Academy's Chairman Binda Singh and Principal Veesha Mohindra in New Delhi. This achievement signifies how students are gaining a chance to learn and comprehend at an international level.
As part of the RIDS program, RVS Academy has co-worked with a number of international schools on significant issues such as climate change and how it affects the environment, the importance and variations of different festivals, children's and data protection from a worldwide perspective, the influence of COVID-19 on education, Jharkhand's products and how they contribute to the world economy and the role rivers play in local and global economies.
Nepal and Netherlands schools from Bangladesh, Ghana, Sri Lanka and the UK took part in these activities. These activities had given students chance to learn, share ideas and get to know the key challenges of the world.
To celebrate this success, Chairman Binda Singh congratulated RIDS Coordinator Usha Tiwari, Manmeet Kaur, Shib Narayan Kar, team leaders, students, and parents.
"We want our students not to be confined to books, but to be in touch with the whole world and become global citizens. This award is an acknowledgment of our efforts in this direction," said Singh.
Principal Veesha Mohindra further added, This honour is a pride for our school. Our students are studying at an international level and we will keep doing such collaborations in the future.
