The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai (RGSGD), a sister school to one of the UK’s most prestigious independent British Curriculum schools, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Matthew Pearce as the new Principal of the Dubai campus.
With over two decades of experience in education and leadership, Mr. Pearce previously served as Rector at The Glasgow Academy, one of Scotland’s top co-educational day schools, where he led the school to achieve the highest academic results in the country. Prior to this, he was Deputy Head at Bishopbriggs Academy, which was recognized as The Sunday Times’ State School of the Year in 2013 and State School of the Decade in 2021. Mr. Pearce’s distinguished career spans senior schools, early years education, and international projects, with a focus on elevating academic standards, fostering co-curricular innovation, and enhancing pastoral care.
