Renaissance and GL Education, prominent providers of top-tier assessment and practice resources for educational support, have recently concluded a series of highly successful one-day conferences in the UAE, hosted by GEMS Education, and Qatar. These events united educators and teachers from the region to delve into evidence-based teaching and learning methodologies.
Under the theme 'Aspirational Learning for All', the conferences garnered over 700 registrations, representing more than 210 schools in both countries. They featured esteemed guest speakers, including Gene Kerns, Ed.D., and Carol Johnson, Ph.D., from Renaissance, David Bartram OBE from Prescient Education, Crispin Chatterton from Renaissance Global, and specialists from GL Education.
Crispin Chatterton highlighted the significance of hosting these conferences across the UAE and Qatar, stressing the joint commitment to bridging the gap between research and classroom application. With a wealth of experience collaborating with schools in the region, the aim is to equip educators with effective data utilization skills, thereby elevating teaching and learning standards and fostering a culture of educational excellence.
The conferences served as a forum for participants to delve into evidence-based practices, with a specific emphasis on supporting diverse learners, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL), Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and gifted students.
