Princess Nourah University offers Innovative Programs for Global Students

  • Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University has unveiled two educational programs, "Arabic Language Courses for General Purposes" and "Welcome to Saudi Arabia," available via the "Study in Saudi Arabia" platform for the 2024 academic year. These initiatives aim to foster cultural exchange, support international students, and enrich their academic journey by honing personal and professional skills.

The "Arabic Language Courses for General Purposes" program, administered by the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Arabic Speakers, emphasizes teaching fundamental communicative skills in Arabic, encompassing reading, listening, speaking, and writing, aligning with established language teaching standards worldwide.

On the other hand, the "Welcome to Saudi Arabia" program, offered by the English Language Institute, acquaints students with Saudi customs and traditions, covering aspects such as social etiquette, traditional attire, and appropriate forms of greeting.

These endeavours are aligned with Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University's strategic objectives for 2025, aiming to pioneer innovative academic offerings, enhance global visibility, and foster community engagement both locally and internationally.

The "Study in Saudi Arabia" platform, an initiative launched by the Ministry of Education in 2022, serves as a gateway for attracting international students to pursue education in the Kingdom. It facilitates access to educational opportunities across Saudi universities, streamlining the application process by furnishing comprehensive information about available academic programs.

Applications for the "Arabic Language Courses for General Purposes" program are open until April 11, 2024, while those for the "Welcome to Saudi Arabia" program will be accepted from June 1 to June 15, 2024. These timelines provide ample opportunity for interested candidates to apply and embark on their educational journey in Saudi Arabia.
