Underlining the dedication to delivering top-notch education in the UAE, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the imminent establishment of a new Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) office in Dubai.
Speaking at the 'Ahlan Modi' diaspora event in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Modi emphasized noteworthy accomplishments in the education sector, noting that "Over 150,000 Indian students are enrolled in UAE schools. The initiation of the master's course at the IIT Delhi campus took place last month, and a new CBSE office is set to open in Dubai shortly. These establishments aim to offer high-quality education to the Indian community in the region." Acknowledging the cultural ties between India and the UAE, PM Modi commended the close linguistic connection and celebrated the achievements of both nations as exemplary on a global scale.
"In the realms of community and culture, the accomplishments of India and the UAE present a global exemplar. There exists a linguistic closeness between India and the UAE," PM remarked. Recalling his first visit to the UAE in 2015, he conveyed a feeling of camaraderie and warmth, particularly during the welcome extended by the Crown Prince, now the President.
Prime Minister Modi reminisced, saying, "I distinctly remember my inaugural trip to the UAE in 2015, shortly after assuming the role of Prime Minister. This visit marked the first by an Indian Prime Minister to the UAE in thirty years. The Crown Prince, now the President, along with his five brothers warmly welcomed me at the airport. During that visit, I experienced an immediate sense of closeness, as if visiting family." In addition to educational efforts, PM Modi highlighted India's global acclaim for large-scale infrastructure projects, vibrant tourism, and notable achievements in sports.
