NYU Abu Dhabi 2024 Research Program Applications Now Open

  • NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is currently accepting applications for its Visiting Summer Undergraduate Research Program. This program offers opportunities for undergraduate students from NYU New York, NYU Shanghai, and universities in the UAE to engage in supervised research projects during the summer. Scheduled for June 3 to July 25, 2024, the Summer 2024 positions will be conducted on-campus. Eligible full-time undergraduate students with strong academic standing can participate in research placements of their choice, covering topics like climate change, psychology, coral reef research, and cyber security. Under the guidance of NYUAD faculty supervisors, students will gain valuable experience in their selected field.

    Farhana Goha, Head of Visiting Students Program and Student Research at NYUAD, expressed that the Visiting Summer Undergraduate Research Program presents an excellent chance for students to enhance their research abilities through engaging in projects that inspire creativity and innovation. This program provides a deep and hands-on learning experience, fostering continued collaborations and potential research publications for participating students, as evidenced by past instances.
