North Korea Holds First Large-Scale Workshop for Children's Union Instructors

  • A major workshop for instructors teaching in the nationwide children’s union held its inaugural event in North Korea where they teach young people to remain loyal to leader Kim Jong-un. The workshop conducted in Pyongyang from Wednesday to Saturday serves as the inaugural training assembly ever held which specified that instructors must develop ‘youth revolutionaries and patriots’.

Students between the ages of 7 and 16 must join the nationwide children's union which operates under the name ‘Red Necktie’ unit. Established in 1946 the organization counts three million members as its current total members. The workshop received instructions from Kim Jong-un who delivered remarks to the attendees even though information about his comments remained undisclosed.

At this workshop instructors examined their responsibility to protect the political orders by teaching children to endorse the regime. The objective includes teaching young individuals to remain dedicated followers of Kim Jong-un. The workshop emphasized that youngsters need to acquire an appreciation of the organization's value since early childhood and learn to participate voluntarily in its events.

The workshop analyzed educational improvement strategies as well as investigated flaws in projects designed to enhance both union influence and membership. The meeting showcased how the union continues to establish its position in the national ideological structure.

The recent workplace meeting for ideological control improvement together with the North Korean meeting of neighborhood administrative officials in March demonstrates their drive to establish full-scale ideological control across society. Government officials view these moves as part of a widespread campaign to establish greater public devotion and maintain full rule over the citizenry.
