The Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has initiated the process of accepting nominations for the prestigious Hamdan-ALECSO Award for Distinguished Educational Research on its official website, with nominations being welcomed until September 9th, 2024.
Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, the Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ALECSO), expressed his delight in receiving nominations for the award for the 2024-2025 period. He emphasized the significance of this award in providing a platform for educational researchers across the Arab world to showcase their studies and contribute to the enhancement of the education sector. Dr. Amar highlighted the potential of these contributions to enrich the scientific community and achieve various academic goals.
Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the Secretary-General and CEO of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, reiterated the foundation's commitment to promoting research activities in the Arab world through initiatives like the Hamdan-ALECSO Award. He acknowledged the positive impact of past editions of the award in attracting outstanding educational research studies.

He also noted the success of the previous edition of the award, which saw submissions from 17 Arab countries and resulted in the recognition of three winning research papers from Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Egypt.
