Nation Group (Thailand) hosted a special ceremony on Wednesday to award 115 scholarships to the children of its employees. The event, held at the company’s headquarters in Bang Na district, marked the 37th edition of this annual initiative.
The ceremony was led by Nation Group CEO Shine Bunnag, with several executives in attendance, including Deputy CEO Baakbun Boonlert, Executive Editor Weerasak Phongaksorn, Chief Marketing Officer Nutwara Saengwarin, Assistant CEO Aeumsree Boonhachairat, and Special Adviser Adisak Limparungpatanakij.
The scholarships covered educational levels ranging from kindergarten to bachelor's degree programs, aiming to support children’s education, ease financial burdens on families, and improve the quality of life for employees. This initiative is part of Nation Group’s ongoing commitment to employee welfare and providing educational opportunities.
Shine Bunnag emphasized the importance of education in shaping future leaders. He reaffirmed the company’s dedication to supporting the educational journey of employees' children, alleviating financial pressures, and boosting employee morale. "Education is not just a learning process but also a symbol of commitment and discipline, leading to pride for parents and guardians", says Bunnag. He also encouraged scholarship recipients to continue learning and adapting to the changing world after graduation.
The ceremony was followed by a luncheon, where children and parents gathered to celebrate the event, creating a joyful atmosphere.
