MOEHE Displays Student Projects from 2024 Olympiad in Math & Science

  • The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), in collaboration with Qatar University's College of Engineering, Texas A&M University in Qatar, and the Qatar Scientific Club (QSC), exhibited student projects from the 2024 National Olympiad for Creativity in Mathematics, Science, and Engineering. 

    Maha Zayed Al Ruwaili, Assistant Undersecretary for Education Affairs at MOEHE, lauded students for their project contributions and their pivotal role in advancing Qatar's National Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals.

    Maryam Noman Al Emadi, Director of the Educational Guidance Department at MOEHE, emphasized that the showcase reflects students' creativity and dedication throughout the competition journey. She highlighted its significance in nurturing talented students and fostering Qatar's promising future.

    The 2024 Olympiad attracted considerable participation across diverse fields, with 50 teams from various public and private educational levels qualifying for the final stage. Final results are slated for announcement on May 2.

    The competition endeavours to promote integrated STEAM learning, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and technology across all educational levels. It aims to cultivate students' skills in specialized areas, fostering innovation and competitiveness.

    The National Olympiad for Creativity in Mathematics, Science, and Engineering caters to students from primary to high school levels. Projects, aligned with specific standards and guidelines, focus on energy, robotics, smart devices, and software systems.
