Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship(MBSC), one of the top business schools in Saudi Arabia, participated in the first session of LEARN, held in Riyadh in October 2024 as a silver sponsor. The event was conducted under the theme Empowering Youth and Nurturing Future Leaders.
At the event, the college engaged with participants in all possible formats to accommodate a workshop, two panel discussions, and a dedicated booth representing its top education programs.
Day 1 - "Developing Global Minds, Education, and Skills for the Modern World" by Dr. Joel Evans, Associate Professor of Management and Academic Director of the Executive MBA Program at MBSC. Day 2 - The discussion "Evolving Leaders for a Changing World: A New Paradigm for Executive Education" by Professor Muhammad Azam Roomi, Professor of Entrepreneurship
Others, such as Dr. Khaldoon Al-Htaybat, Professor of Accounting, also held a workshop, "How to Master Business Concepts through Case Studies", to interact with participants on the importance of case studies in broadening the critical thinking and more importantly, the applicability of theoretical concepts in modern life challenges in the experience economy. MBSC has the first case center in the Kingdom.
The college's involvement in LEARN, by MBSC Dean Dr. Zeger Degraeve, MBSC Dean according to Saudi Vision 2030, goes: "With the Human Capability Development Program, the Vision looks at education from early childhood all the way to lifelong learning", he mentioned during his reiteration that "education is the key to economic prosperity".
LEARN is such a dynamic space for innovative ideas and deep discourse on global challenges in education. It brought in educators, stakeholders, and policymakers from all across the globe to discuss transformational ideas and result in change for the better.
