Macquarie University Offers Scholarships to Indian & Sri Lankan Students

  • The Macquarie University in Sydney has introduced an annual scholarship valued at AUD 10,000 for eligible students from India and Sri Lanka who commence their studies from 2024-25 onwards. This scholarship will cover tuition fees for all coursework degree programs offered at the Sydney campus.

    In simpler terms, a student enrolling in a four-year undergraduate program could receive a total of AUD 40,000 throughout their studies, deducted from their overall tuition fees. Applications for the scholarship are open throughout the year, and candidates will automatically be considered for it.

    To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be full-time international students pursuing either undergraduate or postgraduate degrees on campus. They must also meet specific criteria, including being citizens of India or Sri Lanka, holding a full offer of admission from Macquarie University, and paying the commencement fee by the specified due date mentioned in the offer letter.

    Macquarie University, situated in Sydney, NSW, Australia, is a public research institution founded in 1964 by the New South Wales Government. It was the third university established in Sydney. Operating as a green campus, Macquarie comprises five faculties, along with the Macquarie University Hospital and the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, all situated at its primary campus in Macquarie Park suburb.
