ZEP launched the EdTech platform 'ZEP QUIZ', built on the technology and expertise it had developed in April of last year. 'ZEP QUIZ' has received a strong response in Korea, a country known for its strong educational culture, and has become the top metaverse EdTech platform in the Korean education market.
The platform also offers AI features that help reduce lesson preparation time. Teachers can quickly create educational quiz rooms featuring multiple-choice, short-answer, and OX questions with just a few clicks for use in their lessons. Students can enjoy an immersive learning experience through quiz rooms with game-like elements, making it popular among both teachers and students.
To date, 'ZEP QUIZ' has accumulated 10 million plays and 1.3 million users. ZEP has decided to officially enter the Indonesian market due to the high demand in the local education sector. Even before its official launch, 'ZEP QUIZ' had already gained 20,000 monthly active users in Indonesia, with 50,000 daily active users demonstrating strong local interest in the platform.
ZEP conducted a webinar on February 24, for local Indonesian teachers on the topic of ‘Maximizing Student Learning Effectiveness in the Digital Age’. Around 300 teachers participated in the webinar, demonstrating high demand.
ZEP will officially support the Indonesian language for 'ZEP QUIZ', it plans to continuously introduce various maps and objects that showcase Indonesia's cultural characteristics. It will also add traditional Indonesian costumes as avatar options and offer a school map that reflects the local atmosphere, free of charge.
