The education wing of Joramco, an MRO facility at the heart of Amman and under Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), Joramco Academy, announced its beginning of the academic year. This will be the first semester that students are set to start their classes in newly opened facilities within the academy.
It opened with 50 student career starters in aircraft maintenance engineering besides returning students bringing an excellent wealth of experience into their learning environment. A list of initiatives that support student education has been unveiled as well, including discounted admission fees for those applying by an early date, the distribution of 25 fully subsidized scholarships, sponsored by the Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission. These efforts continue to attract talented youth from across Jordan, encouraging them to pursue careers in a rapidly growing field while supporting Joramco Academy's mission to foster young talent and reduce unemployment in the country.
Commenting on this occasion, Chief Executive Officer, Fraser Currie, said, “We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning students for this academic year at Joramco Academy. It marks a new beginning at our state-of-the-art academy, which is an important step in our expansion plans and vision, as we continue to drive excellence in the aviation industry”.
Adding to that, Chief People & Performance Officer, Hana Ibsais, said, “The start of every academic year is something we are always proud of. For newcomers, it is the beginning of four years of exceptional education, while returning students will benefit from a familiar environment that fosters talent and cultivates growth. Our program provides a golden career opportunity upon graduation, and we eagerly anticipate the students’ success in the future”.
