IIM Bangalore launches Finance Planning Program

  • The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) has collaborated with the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) to introduce the Executive Program in Financial Planning, catering to both working professionals and students. This initiative responds to the growing demand for advanced financial education and seeks to provide a comprehensive learning experience that meets industry needs.

    The program aims to equip participants with the requisite skills and certifications to excel as Certified Financial Planner professionals. Additionally, FPSB India intends to award five scholarships based on merit, empowering deserving candidates with the tools for a successful career in financial planning. Together, FPSB India and IIM Bangalore will organize various events like workshops and seminars to foster knowledge-sharing and networking among professionals and students.

    Krishan Mishra, CEO of FPSB India, views this partnership as pivotal for elevating the financial planning profession in India.
