Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) formalized a strategic partnership with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU). The collaboration will explore new opportunities in talent acquisition, professional development, scientific research in sustainability, and digital transformation efforts. This MoU marks an important step underlining HBMSU's commitment to meaningful partnerships with industry leaders that would further education and equip graduates with the skills necessary to excel in their careers.
Evidently, this partnership has allowed EGA to seize this opportunity to use the sophisticated learning environment offered by the university to enhance its social responsibility objectives. The collaboration will sponsor promising students and innovators while promoting the development of crucial skills. The MoU was signed at the university by Khalid Essa Buhumaid, Senior Vice President of EGA and Athba Al Kamdah, Institutional Resources & Services Vice Chancellor at HBMSU, in the presence of college deans and university administrators, alongside key representatives from EGA.
