Haileybury Bhaluka Teams Up with Harvard for Educator Training

  • Haileybury Bhaluka has entered into a partnership with Harvard University to offer top-tier professional training for its educators. As part of the collaboration, faculty members at Haileybury Bhaluka will have the chance to enroll in the Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) program. This initiative aims to assist them in fortifying their leadership capabilities, empowering them to establish and uphold exceptional standards in the pursuit of high-performance education.

    The programme will start in February 2024. The teachers will be trained on professional development in key leadership themes, including change, people, and school strategy and innovation. "The collaboration with Harvard University is a significant development for us. CSML is an exceptional programme that will expose our administrators and teacher leaders to high-level issues and solutions", said Simon O'Grady, founding Headmaster of Haileybury Bhaluka. "We aim to be a pioneer in education and to share our expertise; we are pleased to invest in the development of our leaders, given their profound role in shaping future generations", he added.

    In a recent partnership agreement, Haileybury Bhaluka seeks to foster the development of exceptional educators in Asia, thereby playing a pivotal role in reshaping the educational scenario within the country. Developed collaboratively by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School, the CSML program is a comprehensive certificate initiative designed for both current and aspiring school leaders, aiming to equip them with the necessary skills for excellence.
