First day of World Education Summit Dubai ends with Collaborative Endeavours

  • The inaugural day of the 28th Elets World Education Summit (WES) concluded at the Millennium Plaza Downtown Hotel in Dubai, signaling the commencement of a two-day event focused on examining the global future of education. Organized by Elets Technomedia in partnership with Elets Digital Learning Magazine, the summit assembled prominent educators, industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders for substantive discussions and collaborative efforts in influencing the trajectory of education in the future.

The first day of the summit saw an energetic exchange of ideas, with distinguished speakers worldwide sharing their expertise on various aspects of education. Dr. Ravi Gupta, Founder and CEO of Elets Technomedia, delivered a warm welcome address, initiating a series of thought-provoking sessions. Dr. Gupta highlighted the significance of the World Education Summit, describing it as a gathering of education leaders dedicated to learning, idea exchange, empowerment, and community building. He revisited its inception in 2011, attributing inspiration and mentorship to the esteemed late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, India's former president and renowned scientist. Dr. Gupta emphasized Dr. Kalam's appreciation for Digital Learning magazine's commitment to advancing IT in education, leading to the establishment of the World Education Summit.

"Over the years, WES expanded its reach from Delhi to include Mumbai, Hyderabad, Dubai, Bahrain, and, in 2019, the University of Denver. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, WES persisted by organizing virtual editions in the USA, the Middle East, and elsewhere. In 2023, the summit reinstated its global conferences, hosting events in Dubai and Malaysia," highlighted Dr. Gupta, underscoring the significance of engaging a wider global audience through the flagship summit.
