Embry-Riddle Asia Launches Campus and Training Center at Seletar Aerospace Park

  • Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University’s Asia Campus has officially moved to a cutting-edge training center at Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore. This relocation reinforces Embry‑Riddle's dedication to Singapore's aviation and aerospace ecosystem while greatly enhancing its educational and training programs. The new facility is shared with Air 7 Asia, promoting collaboration and synergy within the aerospace community.

“We are extremely proud to have a prominent presence at the Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore”, said Dr. John R. Watret, FRAeS, chancellor of Embry‑Riddle’s Worldwide Campus. "This strategic location is a thriving aviation and aerospace ecosystem and is the ideal home for Embry‑Riddle Asia. Our place at Seletar will provide deepened collaboration with industry leaders in the region, and, most importantly, it strongly supports our mission to educate the next generation of aviation professionals who will actively shape the industry's future”.

The new campus and training center features state-of-the-art facilities, including immersive virtual training labs, advanced air traffic management simulation systems, and specialized training areas for uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), or drones. This expansion enables Embry‑Riddle to provide a broader array of academic degree programs, professional and executive education courses, and uncrewed aircraft training programs.

"We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter at Seletar Aerospace Park", said Matthew Flaherty, vice chancellor and head of Asia at Embry‑Riddle. "This move allows us to better serve the needs of Singapore's dynamic aviation/aerospace industry and contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce". The new campus and training center will also house the ERAU Asia Institute, a private education institution registered with the Committee for Private Education, part of SkillsFuture Singapore.

Since 2011, Embry‑Riddle's presence in Singapore has enabled students in Asia to earn Embry‑Riddle degrees through local partnerships. Embry‑Riddle Asia currently serves over 350 students enrolled in programs such as the Master of Business Administration in Aviation, Master of Science in Aeronautics, Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics. These programs are available full-time, part-time, online, and in-class through partnerships with the Singapore Aviation Academy, ERC Institute, and ERAU Asia Institute. Graduates from the Asia campus receive the same SACS-accredited academic qualifications as those from the United States.
