Reiterating its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Egis, one of the foremost global consulting, construction, engineering, and operating companies, has announced its further support for the learning centre of underprivileged communities, NeeV, run by the Bharat Memorial Charitable Trust. This will be the second consecutive year of their association, aligning with the 'Being Responsible' core value.
The support by Egis towards NeeV includes a multi-faceted approach towards the betterment of the educational experience, be it in terms of infrastructure, professional consultancy services, or the required academic resources. Crucially, initiatives based on an internal book donation drive have equipped the centre with educational materials and stationery, adding to the learning environment.
Having in mind that access to good and affordable education is important, so EGIS' efforts at NeeV envision building a whole educational ecosystem wherein more than 450 students and 43 facilitators may grow together. It builds an atmosphere strictly not covering academic excellence but also developing the skills of leadership, communication, and teamwork for the 21st century.

On the help extended by Hara Jeevan, Gurugram, Egis has been planting over 2,000 saplings since August 2022. It had also set up an IT center in the CMO Office of Gurugram in 2021, which changed data management and helped in improving the service delivery of healthcare.
Under the Bharat Memorial Charitable Trust, a learning center, NeeV, was set up in 2007. Based in the village of Nangli Umarpur, off the Golf Course Extension Road, it caters to children from economically weaker sections of Gurgaon in excess of migrant laborers. The beneficiaries, who hail from within a radius of 3 km, have access to bus facilities back and forth from the center. They mostly consist of children of domestic help, gardeners, guards, drivers, masons, people working at construction sites, and rickshaw pullers.
