CodiPlay Earns Central Asia's First Finnish Quality Certification

  • CodiPlay, a Kazakhstan-based ed-tech startup, has etched its place in history as the first project from Central Asia to receive the coveted Finnish Quality Certificate from Education Alliance Finland-the lead certifier of educational technology solutions. Founded in 2021, CodiPlay has fast-tracked to an estimated business valuation of $100 million and has already topped 950,000 active users across the globe.

The Finnish Quality Certificate ensures that CodiPlay meets international quality requirements for learning solutions; the startup will thus be even more competitive on the global level. The company expanded its foothold in September by embedding its platform into the curricula of Turkish schools: institutions working within the structure of Yetev, Turkish educational foundation, are among those whose curricula now include CodiPlay. On the list is also Istanbul American Schools.

CodiPlay is found in 13 countries, such as the United Kingdom, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan, among others, and provides innovative solutions in education where children are taught to understand programming and robotics through playful ways. There are three main pillars: the CodiPlay app; the CodiKit; the robotics kit; and the CodiTeach platform, which all work together to do exactly that: change the learning experience for students across the globe.
