The Ministry of Education (MoE) in Brunei has officially commenced the registration process for the Brunei Business Certificate (SPB) Examination, signalling its commitment to fostering strong business skills among citizens in line with national educational and economic objectives. The registration, open for both students and private candidates, sets the stage for the June exams, scheduled on June 7 and June 9.
Candidates, whether attending Kelas Pelajaran Lanjutan or as private individuals, have been provided clear instructions for registration. Students can register through their teachers, while private candidates are directed to submit applications in person at the Examination Department counter at the MoE One Stop Service Centre. The registration deadline is May 4, ensuring all applicants complete their paperwork in time.
To accommodate the registration process during the holy month of Ramadhan, the MoE has specified payment procedures and adjusted operational hours. Payment is accepted only in cash at the designated counter, and the One Stop Service Centre will open from 8:15 am to noon from Monday to Thursday, and from 8:15 am to 10 am on [specific days]. These adjustments accommodate the fasting schedule, providing ample opportunity for all candidates to register.
The SPB Examination holds significant importance in Brunei, acting as a gateway to further education and career opportunities in the business sector. By facilitating this examination, the MoE not only emphasizes educational excellence but also aims to develop a skilled workforce capable of contributing to economic growth.
As anticipation builds among candidates and educational institutions, the SPB Examination's role in shaping Brunei's future business professionals becomes increasingly evident. With the Ministry of Education leading the initiative, it reflects the country's commitment to nurturing talent and driving economic development through education.
