Bharat Centre of Olympic Research Launches at Rashtriya Raksha University

  • The Bharat Centre of Olympic Research and Education (BCORE) was recently launched at Rashtriya Raksha University in Gujarat's Gandhinagar district. PT Usha, President of the Indian Olympic Association and renowned sprinter, highlighted at the inauguration that the center aims to become a focal point for knowledge, innovation, and performance enhancement within India's sports ecosystem. BCORE at Rashtriya Raksha University has also gained official recognition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as an academic institution dedicated to promoting Olympic values.

    BCORE integrated into the prestigious Olympic Studies and Research Centers (OSRCs) network, an alliance of over 70 academic institutions worldwide dedicated to advancing Olympic studies and research. As India's sole Olympic academic center and a pioneering force in South Asia, BCORE is steadfast in its mission to promote Olympism and the Olympic Movement through comprehensive, multidisciplinary research. Under its Olympic Panorama research and education program, BCORE aims to provide scholars and researchers across various disciplines with a structured platform to contribute impactful Olympic-related research, transcending traditional sports training and performance studies.
