Balochistan Actively Promotes Technical Education for Youth Benefits

  • Balochistan's Finance Minister, Amjad Rashid, highlighted the provincial government's commitment to enhancing technical education. Emphasizing the importance of youths acquiring skills alongside traditional education, he noted that the establishment of a sub-office for the Overseas Employment Corporation would yield significant benefits. These remarks were made during his visit to the Technical Training Center (TTC) in Quetta, where Principal Shoaib Anwar Shirazi provided insights into the center's efforts in delivering technical education to students and discussed various center-related matters.

    Expressing contentment with the center's performance, the minister emphasized that the key to educational and economic stability in any society lies in technical education. He highlighted that countries prioritizing technical education as an integral part of their general education experience faster economic development. The provincial minister stressed that furnishing the younger generation with technical knowledge not only addresses unemployment challenges but also propels the country towards development and prosperity. He affirmed the commitment to utilize all available resources for the advancement of technical education. Additionally, he mentioned the inclusion of modern courses, particularly those related to e-commerce skills, alongside regular programs in various technical training centers across the province, organized by New Tech.

    He mentioned that setting up an Overseas Employment Corporation office at TTC Quetta would yield significant outcomes due to the considerable demand for skilled manpower in various countries. Emphasizing the positive aspect of the Korean language course, Amjad Rasheed stated that TTC stood as the premier technical educational institution in the provincial capital. He viewed it as a golden opportunity for local youth to acquire contemporary technical knowledge, secure respectable employment, and contribute to enhancing the economy of both the country and the province. Affirming the caretaker provincial government's commitment, he assured that all possible support would be extended for the advancement of technical education.
