Aqua-Tots Swim School is excited to announce the opening of its latest international locations. The newest facilities include two in Thailand, one in Saudi Arabia, and the company's inaugural branch in the United Arab Emirates. These expansions mark a significant step forward in the company's commitment to promoting water safety and offering year-round swimming lessons to children worldwide.
Since its inception in 1991 by lifeguard Ron Sciarro and his wife Jane, Aqua-Tots has garnered parental acclaim for its curriculum. Originally established in the Phoenix area to combat childhood drownings, the company evolved under the guidance of Paul and Heather Preston into a pioneering franchise model. Their vision was to create a comprehensive, year-round, indoor swim school franchise aimed at making water safety education widely accessible to children.
“We never could have imagined that one day our small business would grow into a global company, helping families around the world to put water safety first every day”, Co-Founder Ron Sciarro said. “We are so grateful that we get to work with such fantastic franchise owners in each of these countries who share our passion for saving lives through swim lessons. The franchise owners of the newest international schools include Chayathorn Sirimai (Yatch) and Kittiwan Tritipayavarakul (Wan) in Srinakarin-Namdang, Bangkok, Thailand; Pakjira (Bird) Babphan in Chiang Rai, Thailand; Bader Al Saud and Mohamad Al Sharyoufi in Qurtubah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and brothers Naseer and Sulaiman Al Habsi in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Presently, Aqua-Tots Swim School operates in 14 countries, delivering over five million swim lessons annually. Their commitment persists in providing top-tier swim instruction tailored for children from as young as four months old, regardless of skill level. Each modern facility boasts a spacious indoor pool set at a comfortable 90 degrees Fahrenheit, multiple swimming areas, and well-appointed changing rooms complete with amenities like baby changing tables and swimsuit dryers. Parents can observe their children's lessons from a dedicated viewing area, seated in the school's distinctive cozy red armchairs.
