AGDA and Hungarian Institute Partner for Diplomatic Research

  • The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) and the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding international cooperation and enriching students' diplomatic knowledge and skills. Signed in Abu Dhabi by AGDA’s Director-General, His Excellency Nickolay Mladenov, and HIIA’s President, His Excellency Dr. Gladden Pappin, the agreement seeks to facilitate the exchange of information, research papers, and studies between the two institutions. The partnership also aims to promote joint events to foster collaboration and enhance diplomatic expertise.

    H.E. Nickolay Mladenov highlighted AGDA's global reputation as a center of excellence in diplomacy and expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with HIIA. He emphasized the partnership's potential to enhance academic programs and deliver impactful executive training to develop future diplomats, government officials, and business leaders.

    The collaboration with HIIA represents a significant stride towards advancing academic excellence and fostering international cooperation, noted H.E. Mladenov. Together, the two institutions aim to introduce innovative initiatives to groom a new generation of diplomats capable of navigating the complexities of today's global landscape.

    H.E. Dr. Gladden Pappin elaborated on HIIA's mission to support strategic decision-making in Hungarian foreign policy. The institute conducts a variety of research activities domestically and internationally, with researchers and analysts contributing to international relations discourse. Collaborating with AGDA, HIIA aims to provide valuable insights into foreign policy studies beneficial to both nations.
