Abu Dhabi University Joins Quantum Innovation Summit, Dubai 2024

  • Faculty, students, and alumni of Abu Dhabi University (ADU) engaged in the Quantum Innovation Summit Dubai 2024, collaborating with field experts to share knowledge and expertise.

    Vernewell Academy orchestrated the two-day Quantum Innovation Summit Dubai 2024, with the goal of connecting global stakeholders to the local community and promoting collaboration between academia and the quantum industry. The Summit offered an interactive platform for ADU's faculty, students, and alumni to engage with quantum technology professionals and leaders. They not only contributed to discussions and presentations but also showcased ADU's dedication to academic excellence and innovation.

    Throughout the event, ADU's faculty and leadership, including Professor Montasir Qasymeh and Dr. Hamad Odhabi, actively shared their expertise in various sessions. Professor Qasymeh serves as the Associate Provost for Research, Innovation, and Academic Development, while Dr. Odhabi holds the position of Vice Chancellor for Financial and Administrative Affairs at ADU.

    Dr. Hamad Odhabi delivered the Summit's opening remarks, sharing insights, while Professor Montasir Qasymeh took on the role of moderator in the "Quantum Revolution 2.0: Mastering the Scale-Up Challenge" session and served as a speaker in the "Innovation Growth: Investing in the Quantum Ecosystem" session.

    Furthermore, on the Summit's second day, Professor Montasir delivered a keynote address titled "Advancing Quantum Connectivity: Qubit Transmission without Refrigeration." Boasting over 80 speakers and drawing more than 1,500 attendees from 50 nations, the event provided a chance for professionals, leaders, and innovators to delve into the transformative potential of quantum technology.
