Noida International University has applied for Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accreditation and successfully hosted a visit from AACSB officials, including Mr. Prathap Das, Regional Head of South Asia, Dr. Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President, Chief Membership Officer and Managing Director of AACSB International for Asia Pacific, and Ms. Sophia Poh, Accreditation Manager.
During their visit, the AACSB delegates interacted with faculty members and students from the School of Business Management, offering valuable insights into the accreditation process and its advantages. They highlighted how AACSB accreditation boosts the credibility of business schools and enhances their relevance within the industry.
Dr. Geoff Perry mentioned how AACSB brings an inspiring transformation to business schools worldwide by elevating their quality with a strong societal impact. He stated, “To be a part of AACSB, quality matters. AACSB accreditation reviews business curricula, promotes quality learning, and provides networking opportunities for students, faculty, and businesses globally. With this accreditation, B-school students have a 96% higher chance of employment, while institutions see increased student enrollment and enhanced reputation”.
Organizing this successful visit, Dr. Vikram Singh stated, "To add quality to our prestigious institutions, we nurture our young minds with highly educated educators and are always open to learning and collaborating with knowledgeable people and organizations".
Adding to this, Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj highlighted the milestones achieved by NIU in recent years, including NAAC A+ accreditation, and emphasized the university's commitment to providing quality education to scholars. She stated, "We value our educators and will be actively participating in global conferences for better experiences." She also underscored the importance of problem-solving abilities, student commitment, and involvement in academic success. Stressing the significance of individual learning, she remarked, "Ample opportunities are provided to students, but it is up to them to take and utilize these opportunities effectively".
The visit was felicitated by Dr. Vikram Singh, Chancellor, and Prof.(Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor along with Dr. Mukesh Parashar, Registrar, Dr. S. K. Verma, Dean of School of Business Management, Dr. Tanya Singh, Dean of Academics, and Dr. T. A. Wani, Dean of Research & Development at NIU.
By achieving this accreditation, NIU will enhance the value of its School of Business Management, offering scholars, educators, and industry professionals valuable networking and collaborative opportunities that will have a positive impact.
