Le Minh Bao, a senior at Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) in Ho Chi Minh City, has gained global attention for receiving offers from 16 prestigious U.S. universities. Among these offers is a fully-funded scholarship for the distinguished engineering program at the University of Connecticut, where he stands as the sole Vietnamese recipient among five global candidates selected from over 50,000 applicants for this comprehensive scholarship.
Bao's academic journey commenced early, fueled by a passion for engineering ignited during various fairs and exhibitions attended with his father, an expert in the electrical industry. This exposure inspired him to pursue a career in engineering, specifically in the design and manufacturing of industrial machinery.
