  • Jain International Residential School (JIRS) had the privilege of hosting an illustrious group of approximately 30 senior executives and departmental managers of the Toyota Group of Companies as part of the 23rd Chubu Industrial Management Study Mission to Asia 2025.

This top-level visit was designed to promote cross-cultural knowledge exchange and thoughtful discussion on the processes that generate high motivation a driving force of economic growth in India. The focus of the delegation was to learn how Indian schools, especially middle and high schools, are involved in character development and equipping students with the requirements of the future workplace.

The team conducted an interactive session with the leadership team at JIRS to explore the values, pedagogical approaches, and focus of the school towards comprehensive education. Through this forum, both sides got an opportunity to discuss teaching and learning philosophies and practices leading to very high student involvement and motivation levels.

For JIRS management officials, this trip was an ideal chance to receive more in-depth information about what Japanese firms like Toyota look for in future generations of employees.
