'Dubai Cares' to Empower Communities through Education in Nepal

  • Ducab Group, a leading energy solutions and manufacturing firm based in the UAE, collaborates with Dubai Cares to launch 'Ducab Ducare.' This joint initiative aims to construct and revamp educational facilities, offering hope and a foundation for sustainable development in an underserved community facing significant social and educational challenges.

    Ducab Group's 'Adopt a School' initiative goes beyond construction, committing to the future of Nepal's Far Western Region. With a women's literacy rate of around 40%, Ducab's involvement includes creating a school with three classrooms, gender-specific latrines, and essential furniture, addressing urgent educational infrastructure needs and providing adult education and literacy classes for approximately 18 months.

    Ducab Group's CEO, Mohammad Almutawa, emphasizes the company's dedication to building a robust educational foundation for future growth and prosperity in the region. The collaboration with Dubai Cares aligns with the UAE's vision of promoting equity, inclusion, and sustainable development globally, showcasing the impactful role of corporate social responsibility.
