Trident's Takshashila Program to Train 2,000 Youth for Skill Development

  • Trident Group, a global conglomerate valued at USD 2 billion, is excited to unveil 'Takshashila,' its flagship recruitment and training program. This innovative initiative is set to recruit and train 2,000 entry-level employees from rural and semi-urban areas of India, with a strong emphasis on employment and skill development.

The Takshashila Program provides a valuable opportunity for youth with diverse educational backgrounds, including ITI, diplomas, and 10+2 education. By dismantling educational barriers, Takshashila enables young individuals to earn, learn, and advance, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement and personal growth. Post-training, participants can expect a starting salary of 12 lakhs per annum, offering exceptional livelihood prospects for those with a basic education—an approach that is unique within Corporate India.

Speaking on the program, Rajinder Gupta, Emeritus Chairman of Trident Group, commented, "Today marks such a momentous occasion as we embark on a new chapter of growth and empowerment with the launch of our flagship program, Takshashila. This program is specially designed keeping in mind social development, Economic upliftment, diversity, inclusion, and nation-building. Towards this, special preference will be given to women (with 50% seats reserved), rural and economically weaker families, defense service veterans, and national-level sports players".

“Takshashila embodies our philosophy of 'Opportunities Unlimited' by providing a platform for everyone to expand their horizons and be true partners in prosperity. It's a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering an environment where everyone learns, fueled by a love for growing together. It's with immense joy that we are launching Takshashila 2024” , he added.

Since its launch, the Takshashila initiative has successfully trained and employed over 20,000 individuals from modest backgrounds. Participants receive comprehensive classroom training, practical experience, mentorship, and ongoing upskilling to prepare them for career success. Many alumni have emerged as prominent leaders, entrepreneurs, civil servants, academics, and business professionals, both in India and abroad. The Takshashila 2024 hiring drive aims to attract over 50,000 applicants through a robust digital media campaign, campus events, and outreach programs in rural areas.
