The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has introduced an exceptional opportunity for students nationwide to participate in a fully funded six-month study and placement program in China. This initiative aims to enhance cross-cultural understanding and professional skills, providing a transformative educational experience for both undergraduate and graduate students.
This merit-based program is open to students from all regions of Pakistan, inviting applications from Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD level students across all fields of study. The aim is to provide scholars with new knowledge and insights, helping them establish essential academic connections for success in a globalized world. To qualify, undergraduate, Masters, and doctoral candidates must meet specific academic and administrative requirements. Candidates need to have a minimum CGPA of 3 out of 4. Postgraduate students (MS & PhD) must have completed their coursework and apply within specified disciplines. Undergraduate students must be in the final year of their degree program and also apply within specified disciplines.
Applicants must also have an acceptance letter from a Chinese university ranked within the top 500 by QS, THE, or Shanghai Rankings. Additionally, they need to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their home university for the six-month placement in China. The age limits for participation vary by educational level: 25 years for undergraduate students, 35 years for Master’s students, and 40 years for Doctoral students.
