Shoolini University has signed an MoU with the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. Established in 1937, the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of Uzbekistan. This agreement is supposed to foster greater international cooperation among academic and research circles across the globe in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
The MoU was signed officially at the International Conference on Pharmaceutics and Life Sciences: Frontiers of Research and Education (ICPL-2024). Presenting Shoolini University, Dr. Deepak Kumar, Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Coordinator, iHUB Shoolini attended the conclave. On the inauguration day of the conference, Dr. Kumar gave a plenary lecture, while the following day, at the Pharmaceutical Technical University, Tashkent, he gave a public lecture.
Dr Kumar thanked Chancellor Prof P K Khosla and Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla, under whose inspiring leadership Shoolini University has been able to witness such cross-border impacting collaborations. Pro Chancellor Vishal Anand and Prof Ashish Khosla-President (Innovation) were also complimented by him for supporting the university's academics and research projects.
The partnership with the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute is a great step ahead for Shoolini University as it continues to improve its ranking as an innovation and research centre in the pharmaceutical sciences. This collaboration will bestow beneficial opportunities of knowledge exchange and collaborative research for students, faculty members, and researchers at both institutions.
