Manipal Global Education Services, a leading international provider of quality learning solutions in higher education, launched Manipal MedAce, a super app for Medical Learning and Medical PG Prep, amid increasing competition in the test prep segment. Manipal Global Education Services stated in a statement that the platform will operate in a new mobile and cloud-first format.
MedAce was launched in December 2021 as a resource for MBBS students. The new edtech app will now offer two products: Learn for MBBS students and Prep for PG Aspirants. According to Manipal, the learning product will supplement MBBS students' campus learning by providing access to learning resources, whereas the new edtech arm will provide a personalized experience for PG aspirants through its Prep Product. Manipal MedAce will now compete directly with Unacademy-owned PrepLadder, which was founded in 2015 by Deepanshu Goyal, Sahil Goyal, and Vipul Goyal and provides recorded content for medical students preparing for the NEET PG exams.
